Hybrid Service Done Right

A hybrid runs two power systems that have to work together: a conventional gasoline engine and a high-voltage electric drive. Servicing one without understanding the other leads to misdiagnosis. Our ASE-certified technicians work on both sides of that system, so you get accurate answers rather than guesses.

Most Hybrid Maintenance Is Standard Maintenance

This surprises a lot of owners. Oil changes, tire rotations, cabin air filters, coolant service, and factory maintenance intervals apply to hybrids the same way they apply to any vehicle. You don't need a dealership for routine work.

One real difference is braking. Regenerative braking means the friction pads engage far less often, so pads frequently last much longer on a hybrid. The tradeoff is that rotors can develop rust and surface irregularities from underuse, which is worth inspecting even when pad wear looks fine.

Hybrid-Specific Work We Handle

Beyond routine service, we diagnose and repair the systems unique to hybrid vehicles: high-voltage battery evaluation and replacement, inverter and converter faults, the separate cooling system that many hybrids use for the battery pack, and the 12-volt auxiliary battery that powers accessories and is often overlooked because owners assume the main pack covers everything.

We also handle hybrid-specific diagnostics, where trouble codes often point somewhere very different than they would on a conventional vehicle.
